Tenant fees and permitted payments
Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 the only payments we can take from tenants are:

| Holding deposit (to reserve a property) | No more than 1 week’s rent |
| Security deposit | No more than 5 weeks’ rent (6 weeks if annual rent is £50,000 or more) |
| Rent | As agreed — no more than one month’s rent may be requested in advance |
| Changing the tenancy at the tenant’s request | £50 inc. VAT, or reasonable costs if higher |
| Late payment of rent (14+ days) | Interest at 3% above the Bank of England base rate |
| Lost keys or security devices | Reasonable cost of replacement |
